Reasons Why Life Is Good Right Now
I know it's Friday 13th, but HEY.
1. We have electricity again! Getting home and being able to turn lights on has never seemed so awesome.
2. I'm being put in the next Improv Comedy show!
3. MattMatt discovered my favourite cookies at Tescos and bought some for me. They are sitting on my desk waiting patiently for me to lose my will and devour them all in one sitting.
4. I have the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack, which is awesome and bouncy.
5. My summative commentary is in.
6. That formative essay I was stressing about is back, and I got one mark off a first - apparently because I didn't explain it enough at the beginning. So it wasn't a matter of being dumb, it was a matter of thinking the examiners were too smart.
7. Wyrd Sisters rehearsals are amazing fun. As a cast, we're finally over shyness barriers and joking around with each other between scenes and stuff. And last night, half the cast couldn't make it because of the snow, and they were mostly main characters, so us bit parts had enormous fun playing them for once.
8. Again, I know it's Friday 13th, but Friday's always a good day. I don't have anything in the morning, so I just chill and get my Latin done around lunchtime, and I know I have the weekend ahead of me. Hence now, chilling, cereal slowly turning into mush next to me as I get distracted by internet.
9. New story idea's going well. It's just at the daydream stage right now. I still wish I could draw so I could draw the characters, because, well, it's steampunk, their costumes are awesome.
10. ... I didn't realise the list would be this long when I started it. WIN!
