So, you know how yesterday I was all optimistic about work getting done and stuff like that?
Last night, my house suffered an extremely localised power cut. Like, just us and a few other houses on our street. It still wasn't fixed as of 8:30am this morning. This morning, when I really wanted to print off my summative commentary and hand it in and get it out of my hair. So I couldn't use my printer, and my laptop was on its last traces of battery, so it was a mad rush to get the files off it onto a pendrive before it died. I just about managed it - it's like it held on, just that little bit longer, for me. I love you too, laptop.
So, then I had to come to the library to print it off, which not only makes buying nice paper the other day a complete waste of time (booo), but was also made considerably more difficult by the fact it is SNOWING, AGAIN. REALLY REALLY HEAVILY. And just HAPPENED to be falling in the direction I was walking and going straight in my eyes.
Of course, by now I am wise to the universe's plan to fuck me over in a myriad of unexpected ways, so I am happy in defiance of it. Plus, snow is pretty.
