I adore my mother

My mum is seriously one of the best people to call when I'm feeling low. I mean, not only does she provide the usual understanding/reassurance/comfort that everyone needs now and then, but when I call up feeling crap because of not being able to work and general blues due to a certain time of month, she ordered me to

a) Stop working
b) Get chocolate
c) Watch Supernatural

... which is basically what I've been wanting to do all evening but haven't felt like I could, because, well, if I'm conscious, essays should be doable. But she pointed out certain marvellous medical facts, like right now my brain is basically waterlogged because of aforementioned wonderful time of month so it CAN'T concentrate, and that of course I crave chocolate right now, and what's more, I won't put ridiculous extra weight on, so I get the endorphins without the guilt.

I seriously love my mother. She provides normal comfort, and backs it up with SCIENCE! So over the course of a conversation, I went from seriously glum and :( to really quite relaxed and :). She literally turned my frown upside down.

She also facebook-stalked a guy I like, and pronounced her approval. Which was slightly weird.

In other news, Supernatural rewatching continues, and man, I love this show. I mean, I love what the show became series 3-4, but I also love THIS show. I just watched Faith and loved Dean in it. Also, boys in hoodies are ADORABLE and should happen more often.

Though is it weird I spotted a book on a shelf written by 'G. Gray' and went "EEEEEE!"? (Sadly it was NOT called How to Make Love Stay.)

ETA: Route 666 - I'm sorry, am I supposed to be taking this SERIOUSLY?? "There was a children's choir practising inside!" AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
