The pizza party
I went and saw Bolt this past Saturday at the local pool. I took my blanket, Squeaky and my Bolt plush so he could watch his own movie with me, kind of like seeing the new version of himself on TV at the end of the movie. It was a good crowd there this time, lots more than Iron Man. I also met Ron's brother, wife and kid there too, and woofed to them for a few minutes. It's a good movie to make me happy.
On Sunday I had a pizza party with friends from school, Steve and Corinne. Since we graduated I've woofed once in a while with them on the phone and we thought about getting together sometime, but it didn't happen, busy with our lives after school I guess. One day Steve called and gave me Corinne's number and it was the right time, so I called her and we wanted to meet. Later I barked to Steve and thought that Sunday would be a good day, since Saturday was Bolt day.
I went over and got Steve at the Ground Round in Moon, then we went on to Corinne's across the river. She was waiting for us on the porch and we woofed hi and then went in and played a few rounds on a Wheel Of Fortune TV game.
After that we went to Pizza Hut and got a pepperoni take away pizza and a 2 liter of Pepsi and brought it home. We ate in Corinne's kitchen and chatted about the other students, wondering what some of them are doing now. Steve thinks that about half of them are still near Pittsburgh. We fooled around taking pictures and video as we laughed about everything and had our pizza.
After that we went out on the porch as it was close to getting dark and fed some crust to the birds in the street. We saw a bird nesting under the eaves of her porch too, staying on the nest even though we were moving around and loud right below her.
That was a great meet with some nice friends from school, nothing heavy to worry about, just the fun of getting together.
Now it's time to get ready for Independence Day, cookouts, fireworks, Sheepdogs, all that.. :)
