For those who haven't heard, George Carlin has passed away. I saw him on his "Go Fuck Yourself" tour back in the 80's. I bought a t-shirt on that tour and once when I had my hair up (a rarity) in the grocery store, an older lady chastised me for wearing it. Bobby "Boris" Pickett has passed away.

He did the mash, he did the Monster Mash!

The Godfather of Soul, James Brown, passed away early Monday morning.

The funk/soul brother was 73 and was hospitalized with pneumonia on Sunday. They exact cause of death is unknown at this point.
