Wah, that wasn't long enough!
Back from vacation, but it was definitely NOT long enough. Sean and I spent 6 days and 5 nights in Mountain Home, Arkansas to visit his mom, aunt, and uncle, and we nearly spent the entire time with them too! But it was so nice to finally meet his mom, and family. I LOVE his aunt, she's so awesome! They were all very laid back and hospitable, and it was very pretty out there. They too believe people are nicer down south, and do not miss Michigan one iota. Yet another reason why I MUST LEAVE!
Anyhow, I'm back now, and back to work. I have this week and next week full-time hours in the office while a coworker gets married. Then another two weeks after that, ANOTHER coworker is getting married and taking two weeks off, so I'm covering for her. So... no problem finding hours now.
I'm already thinking about my next vacation. I want to go to NC!!!! And this time, it will be just S and me, and we'll camp, and maybe even take my new car!!!! Woohoo!
But before that trip, I think I might head down and go to a couple of big job fairs one weekend in the middle of June. A lot of the schools I've been interested in will be at this one, and principals will actually be there to interview me. (TRANSLATION: this could actually result in a REAL job!)
Soo... I'm registering for those, and mom will spot me the cash I need to get there and do what I have to do. Don't you love moms?
I'm getting her a great present for Mother's day!!! ;)
AHHH! better go to softball! game tonight! wish me luck!
