I wish the Super Bowl could reinvent their halftime show mentality, because really, when was the last time they did something good? It's always some concert with U2 and Britney Spears, or Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson, or Aerosmith and [insert your own least favorite band] and they're all lip-synching!
I wish they would do something more along the lines of China's Olympic Opening Ceremony, because with the money they're paying for these milquetoast performances, they could probably achieve something great.

Now come on. I admit to not liking quite a few of the bands you listed up there, but I really do like Tom Petty, and (cough..cough) U2 a lot. I also like Justin Timberlake (did I just lose credibility?).
However, I am pretty stoked that they have stuck with rock acts the past few years since the Janet/JT fiasco. They were on the road to destruction with all their lip singing acts prior to that.
And yeah...Glory Days will probably be played. I REALLY don't like that song though. Damn.

You lost credibility with U2, not JTim. He's the man.
