Because my celebrating got snowed out...
I have been playing guitar for the past two hours.
I forgot how good this feels. I have been focusing way too much on playing the drums lately...not that it's a bad thing...but this, THIS, is a very good thing.
But in all honesty, I posted this because I am curious to know what songs everyone thinks the Boss will play at the Superbowl. Him and all five (sometimes four) of his guitar players. I am totally certain "Born to Run" will get in there...and probably born in the U.S.A.
I guess if he goes the Tom Petty/U2 route, that only leaves one other option. I was really hoping for "I'm on Fire." I know that one probably will not be included. Also, I am not entirely sure why I get so excited over certain Superbowl halftime shows--I think it goes back to the good old Michael Jackson days--does anyone remember how he rocked it in like, 1995 or something? But yes, indeed, I live for the halftime show (which is why i recall being a tad freaked out when JT pulled down Janet Jackson's shirt and thinking "interesting, but whatever...")
What are your bets? Will Dancing in the Dark get included in there?? How about another slow option like "Streets of Philly" or "Secret Garden"...and I am also forgetting "Glory Days," but I never really enjoyed that one.
