Various things. In a list.
- I did one and a half points out of two thousand of my homework. I weep.
- Finished betaing urgent news post that could be posted any moment (that is, that I've no idea when it will be posted). Yay Spanish team. Boo lousy team liaison that can't get her act together enough to e-mail a new proposal to them and touch base with the other teams.
- There's a very interesting topic lately about the term 'Mary Sue'. I think it was sparked by the founding of
hooked_on_heroines (or it was the other way around?). Anyway, posts that made me think:

Too tired to untangle why I found myself agreeing with the first three posts linked, and puzzled at my own negative reaction to MS, 'til I read the last one. And understanding dawns. I hate canon (specially character) bashing. - So, I probably should keep away from the the original fic discussion, because I find I'm doubting myself. Not what I believe would be the best outcome or on the opinions themselves, but on how I'm arguing them. Perhaps I would deserve it! Who knows anymore? It's a extremely touchy subject to me, and unlike other touchy subjects, I'm not comfortable with being disagreeable to people about it (after I realize that I am. Which of course, it should've happened sometime early morning/late last night, but nooo, hele's processing power is slooooow).
- Brother and family go back to Italy Tuesday. :( I'll have more time to procrastinate/do homework without kids screaming/playing around/asking me to play with them, but I'll fucking miss them.
- I am so tired. And the week is about to begin. How is this my life, again? *wishes she could be a slug*
