We Aint Dead!
Contrary to popular belief, this comm is still active (ish) and is about to undergo a metamorphosis! So, drumroll please as I bring you the inaugural:
HIGHLANDER FLASHFICTION FICATHON!
The theme of this first ficathon (and possibly all forthcoming if it is successful) is Second Banana. Basically, instead of prompts, entrants can choose any secondary character from all of Highlander (this includes the Series, the Raven, the movies and even the anime if you so choose). So, absolutely NO Macleods, Methos, Joe Dawson, or Richie Ryan* (there's enough fic about them already people!) but bucketloads of Darius, Hugh Fitzcairn, Rebecca, Ramirez, Bert Myers, Tessa Noel and any other secondary character you might feel has had short shrift in fanfic.
*The primary characters are allowed to appear in your fic, but they should not be the protagonist of it.
We are allowing a certain grey area for Amanda and Nick Wolfe because the Raven is woefully lacking fic and there aren't enough Amanda fics out there in general.
Minimum length will be 500 words, we want lots of entries to make this a success, but there is no maximum. We only ask that the fic is posted complete.
Signups will begin this week, so please pimp this on any comms you belong to/maintain and your LJ.
