Life...
is unexpected. Thai is tonal, setting me somewhere between in the shade and the dark. Food is good, unless it's served at Calvin College.
I've learned numerous good lessons this week:
1. Just because it's in Southeast Asia does not mean there is no hot water.
2. Take pictures of your luggage.
3. Don't wait until you crash to sleep after many sleepless nights, and enjoy those sleepless nights.
4. Never ever actually let yourself believe in first impressions or stereotypes.
Sixteen days to Thailand. Most of me just wants to say these two words--
bring it.
