Thailand!
It's seven am and I should be getting ready for work, but lemme tell you about my amount of motivation to do that.
Ha.
So yesterday I got an email from my host dad. Finally. He said (in broken but cute english) that he had gotten my email, but was really busy cause the family's moving--not far, but to a bigger place. He said he was really excited to welcome me into the family (if you connect the dots on the language) and to call he and his wife "Papa and Mama," which wraps up what has to be the cutest email I've ever received. My mom and I agree that he sounds extremely sweet, and our confidence level in Thailand just went up three notches.
I can't believe I'm going! But I can't wait to go~!
Also, I'm going to be in Tokyo/Narita Airport for two and 1/2 hours. I fully plan on using Japanese and being all impressive, thank you. Unless my already 14 hours on a plane has taken me down (by the way, it's 24 1/2 hours total.)
I leave August 2.
