Yui clung to the thin material of his scrubs, pulling him closer, needing more of him, and yet finding that he was never close enough. "I need this. ...I need you," she hoarsely whispered, before crushing her mouth against his, teeth clanking, tongue dominant and forceful.

YamaPi returned the kiss hungrily, himself crying out for a taste, a touch of her. Her silky long hair threading through his fingers, his arm tight around her waist, pulling her flush against him. In that moment, he was drowning in her so completely, he seemed to forget all else; his world was her, nothing but her.

"Excuse me! Yamashita-kun! Ten minutes to rehersal!"

The voice of the assistant director broke through the intoxicating haze that was Yui and brought YamaPi back to reality. They were here, in studio, in his dressing room, waiting to start filming for the day on Code Blue.

As Yui struggled to pull him in for another one of what he was sure to be her mind-numbing kisses, YamaPi gently took her hands into his own and eased them down from their desperate grip. "I don't want you to regret this."

She blinked at him with wide, near innocent eyes. "But... I want this."

"If this got out, this could ruin everything you have going for you."

"It could do the same to you," she rejoindered, a bit of fire in her words.

YamaPi shook his head softly. "You know that's not true. You can't afford to ruin your image, Yui. It's all you have."

She frowned at him, and YamaPi thought about how many times he had seen that frown, and how he disliked it so. "Image isn't everything, Yamashita!"

"But it is," he maintained, feeling rather like a senpai educating his kouhai about the dangers of the idol world and not like a man who had been so entranced by this young woman before him just moments ago.

Yui was quiet for a long moment, seeming to have come off her adrenaline high and sincerely taking in his words. "But you always say this. You said this before and-"

"-because I want you to be sure. I want this, but I want you to want this like I want this." YamaPi tucked a wisp of her hair behind her ear. "No regrets."

His words were soft and kind, warm like a blanket just out of the dryer protecting her from the winter cold. He wanted to protect her. He wanted her that much. Yui smiled and gave a short nod.

"No regrets."

YamaPi reached out to brush a stray strand of long black hair behind Yui's ear gently. "Nervous?"

She looked up at him with her wide brown eyes. "Just a little."

"You shouldn't be," he insisted with a soft smile, fingers brushing against the dangly star earrings he had bought her just a week ago when they had gone shopping in Aoyama. "You've done this before; you're a pro."

Yui shook her head viciously in denial, bangs swishing about. "No, no. You are the pro."

YamaPi bit his lip lightly as he grinned at her child-like naiveté. He slid in next to her on the dressing room sofa, bumping shoulders with her comfortingly. "You'll be fine, I promise."

"But I've never been in studio for the morning news live before and this is my first FujiTV drama and-"

Her anxious ramblings were put to a halt with his lips pressing against hers in a chaste kiss. Yui shut her eyes for the short moment, finding that YamaPi's calm effectively quieted her own butterflies. She sighed softly as he pulled away, eyes still closed, feeling his thumb stroke lovingly at her cheek. "I'm here," he whispered. "Stick with me, and you'll be fine."

Eventually when she did open her eyes, she found him looking back at her with complete confidence and faith. He had always doted on her, always watched over her, from the very first moment they had met on the set of Dragonzakura almost three years ago. Yui wasn't sure exactly what she had done to deserve such affection from him, but for the most part, she tried not to question it as she wasn't even sure what caused her to want to return it so fully either.

"You have lipstick here." She rubbed gently with her pinky at the corner of YamaPi's mouth where a trace of her lipstick had smudged off. "People might notice," she teased in a playful hush.

"Let them notice," YamaPi returned, grabbing Yui's wrist and pulling her in for another kiss.

YamaPi stared at the still sleeping Yui, head tossed to the side, her dark hair splayed against the clean white of the pillow. The sheets had been kicked off in the heat-though she had grown up in Okinawa, she'd always had a fierce dislike of the hot and sticky summers of Tokyo-and the hem of her light pink slip rode dangerously up her creamy white thighs, beautifully tempting to the watching YamaPi.

She mumbled softly, incoherently in her sleep, turning and throwing a hand out to reach toward the empty space where YamaPi normally would lie next to her. Her other hand continued to rest protectively over the swell of her belly, her baby-their baby-sleeping quietly along with his mother.

Waiting until the last possible moment, they had found out the baby's gender only yesterday morning at Yui's checkup and YamaPi had been beyond thrilled.

"So, are you going to let him join the jimusho?" was the first thing Jin teased him about after YamaPi had told him the news.

"I'll leave that up to him," YamaPi returned, grinning so wide that it almost hurt. "If he doesn't, I'm happy. If he does, I'm happy. As long as he is happy and healthy."

Jin chuckled. "You are so sappy, Pi. Just like a soon-to-be father should."

Pulled by the need to be closer, YamaPi sat down on the side of the bed and leaned over Yui, slipping his hand over hers. As their fingers twined over where their baby rested, Yui slowly stirred. "...mmm, Pi?"

"Shh. I didn't mean to wake you. Go back to sleep," he urged gently, meeting her sleepy eyes as she sat up to look up at him.

Yui looked on as an entranced YamaPi sat there, hand on her her stomach. The baby wasn't doing anything particularly interesting at that moment (certainly not the flips and kicking that she had grown accustomed to over time) and yet, he was still so completely taken. Yui loved these quiet moments, watching him marvel over the gift they had been given-the life he had always wanted.

After a few minutes had passed and the miniature grandfather clock out in the living room chimed for the hour, Yui removed her fingers from YamaPi's and then patted the back of his hand. "You have work-that NEWS photo shoot in Yokohama Chinatown remember?"

"I'd rather be here."

Yui smiled, her first smile of the day-bright and untempered. "I know."

author's notes: written for tinyangl who just wanted herself more Jin/Ueto Aya.

"Oi, Jin!"

Jin turned from where he was exiting the recording studio, finishing off another day of dubbing for Speed Racer. "Ryo! What are you doing here?"

As Jin waited in the corridor, Ryo caught up to him. "I was here for some dub work on Last Friends. You know, outdoor scenes and stuff. What about you?"

"Speed Racer dubbing." Jin puffed his chest proudly. "I worked with Aya-chan today."

Ryo rolled his eyes. "You say that like you learned to tie your shoes finally or something. That's nothing. You forget, Slow Racer, I did a drama with her."

Jin scoffed. "A drama where you were love interests but didn't even touch each other! Hardly anything to write home about."

"I touched her! That one time on the basketball court..." Ryo trailed off, realizing how lame that sounded, but then came back just as quickly. "What is the big deal about you working with her then? I mean, you aren't even in the same booth together! And you're only talking to her."

As Jin felt his superior status start to slip, he wracked his brain to find something to one up Ryo with. He wasn't sure when exactly the conversation had become a game of proving who was closer to Ueto Aya, but he wasn't about to lose out to Ryo. "I get to see her casual, with her guard down, since there are no cameras on us. I bet you haven't seen her in yoga pants and a sweatshirt before!"

"Couldn't possibly compare to her in a flight attendant's uniform," Ryo easily countered. "Sometimes, when that skirt would ride up just a little, I could catch a glimpse..."

Jin, who had been fantasizing about Aya-chan's legs in time with Ryo's description, found himself jarred from the daydream when Ryo's voice dropped away. "Hey, you stopped!"

"Yeah, I know." Ryo did not even look at Jin, too busy staring into the large window of the recording studio they had stopped next to.

Confused, Jin followed Ryo's gaze and he was rendered speechless as well.

There - through the looking glass, in the otherwise empty studio - was cute and adorable Aya-chan in her yoga pants, sitting on the edge of the sound board, her lithe legs twined around and her hands in the messy hair of the boy she was making out with.

The two of them just stood their for a moment and stared, watching Aya get pushed further up onto the sound board as her and the boy desperately kissed as if they had no hope for a tomorrow.

And then Ryo opened his mouth.

"Fuck. Isn't that Shige?"

Before either of them knew what they were doing exactly, they had entered the studio to find the entire room full of the sounds of Shige and Aya's heavy panting and slopping kisses. Somehow, the couple had manipulated the controls so that they could be heard in complete surround sound, and yet had failed to notice it themselves.

Ryo and Jin kind of just stood there in the back, neither sure of what to say (a first for Ryo). Even if they had had something to say, Jin was not so sure it would have come out comprehensible to the human ear. Lucky for them, they didn't have to say anything as moments later, Aya finally caught sight of them and quickly let Shige know.

Shige turned slowly to face them, lips flush from his activities and a blush steadily rising up his cheeks from what they assumed was his moritification at being caught. Aya hid her face behind Shige's shoulders, eyes peeking out from around the curve of his neck.

"Nishikido-kun, Akanishi-kun. Funny meeting you here. Ueto-san and I were just going over lines for our dubbing session for Hokaben, but I'm sure the director is looking for us now, so we should get going. Nice seeing you!"

With his hasty, stuttered excuse, Shige beelined for the door with Aya in tow, cutting a clean path between the two of his senpai.

For a long time (or at least what felt like a long time), Jin and Ryo stood in the aftermath of what they had barged into, trying to process it all.

Jin looked to Ryo. "Truce?"

Ryo shrugged, heading for the door. "I guess so. It's not like we have much choice."

Jin nodded, following Ryo. "So, what's it like kissing Nagasawa? Is it everything Pi said it was like? Should I try to get my next drama to be with her?"
