I really wish I could come up with a more coherent and worthy comment (since omg this thing was 20,000 something words) but alas, my brain has decomposed.

This was really well written with occasional funny moments, sometimes angsty and other times just heartbreaking and heartwarming. I love how you employed various aspects of NEWS in real life into your story and just the fact that Koyama struggled so much and deviated from his original self because of a bitter ending with Pi makes it seem like such a tragic story. But then you threw in RyoShige as plot devices (and yes I'm a Nishikato fan) and made Shige urge Kei (and I'm a fan of Koyato member ai/best friend-ai) and so then I really started to flail and sigh contently when things went Koyama's way and Pi got off his behind to be more proactive. (Did I mention how I'm so glad Jin is finally portrayed as someone with a brain? Thank the heavens!)

So basically to sum up my nonsensical ramblings...I really liked this and it was bitter then sweet and just the perfect mix of sad and happy all together. :] Wonderfully done~ &hearts

Hardly nonsensical at all! A wonderful comment that warms my heart was what it was. ♥

RyoShige as plot device was probably mostly for my beta, who loves them so, but I'm glad you liked it too! I'm also a huge fan of KoyaShige as family. :) And, I guess, I just can't really write Jin without a brain you know? He may be a little "free", but I think that his "Bakanishi" persona is just a surface image that he likes to play around with and wear. When it comes down to it, I think he's got a decent head on his shoulders. :)

Thank you for reading! ♥
