Summary: Horikoshi Gakuen is a school full of secret. All that was known of this school to the public that only kids that were special were allowed to attend to it. This is the story of a boy by the name Yamada Ryosuke that was forcefully invited to attend this school. Unknown of the school secrets, this is the start of an unfolding story of this mysterious boy life in this new school where his journey of not only journey of knowledge but also the story of his past and love would begin.
chapter 5
Times flies and before Ryosuke knew it he had already been in Horikoshi Academy for a week. He was just waking up from his sleep that was disturbed by his usual best alarm clock in the world, Yuto ….
‘Yuto, for god sake stop calling me up so early every morning, would you? You always call me up at 6 in the morning when class start at 8.30.’ Yamada complained.
‘But Yama-chan, it is healthy to wake up early every morning.’ Yuto tried to protested.
‘It’s not if you sleep late every night.’ Yamada replied.
‘Then sleep early then.’
‘Not with the amount of homework we received from the teachers. And I also noticed that the subjects topic are harder than usual school standard.’
‘Oh so even the genius Yamada Ryosuke have trouble against the school subjects.’
‘Hei I never said that.’
‘Oh whatever, you’re properly the only one doing the school homework. Normally we just ignore it. Anyway the good news for you that this week we are having ability class studies in state. So there are no normal classes. In other word no homework since ability class studies only does co-curriculum activities.’
‘Ability class?’
‘Oh I didn’t tell you about it ?’
‘Of course not or I won’t be confuse here.’
‘Whatever. The students of this academy are divided into three group class namely elemental ability class, non-elemental ability class and the dangerous ability class. I heard there were only two ability class in the past but now were three.’
‘So I would be in the elemental ability class then?’
‘Yup! Together with Keito!’
‘Erm…. Which class is Chinen-kun in?’
‘Oh that kid is in the dangerous ability class. That the weird thing because normally they would just follow his strongest element to decide the class. And I heard the dangerous ability class was established around the time Chinen entered the school.’
‘Eh? It sounds as though it was specially established for him.’
‘No way, Yama-chan. I mean why would the school established a new class just for the brat.’
‘Yeah, your right.’

At that moment Yuto and Ryosuke stop chatting since Keito had already arrived to bring Ryosuke to the ability classroom.
‘Ohayo Yama-chan, Yuto .’ Keito greeted.
‘Ohayo Keito.’
‘Alright lets go then. Yuto you better hurry up too. I saw Daiki finding for you earlier.’
‘Oh ok. Bye Yama-chan, Keito.’
After Yuto left, Keito bring Ryosuke to the a room in a neighbouring block. When they were walking towards the block they had to walk quite near to the western forest. The western forest is the largest forest in the whole academy yet it is forbidden for any student to step even a single foot in the forest.
‘Ne Keito, why can’t the students step into the western forest?’ asked Yamada.
‘According to the school, there are monsters in there. Even though I don’t believe it is true but I rather not break the school rule to find out the truth.’
‘Oh I see.’
After that Ryosuke never asked anything until they reached the room where the elemental ability class is being held. Until he saw that Yabu-sensei was the class teacher for the elemental ability class.
‘Eh ! Yabu-sensei, you’re the elemental ability class teacher?!’
‘Yup, Yamada-kun. Welcome to the elemental ability class !’
