Summary: Horikoshi Gakuen is a school full of secret. All that was known of this school to the public that only kids that were special were allowed to attend to it. This is the story of a boy by the name Yamada Ryosuke that was forcefully invited to attend this school. Unknown of the school secrets, this is the start of an unfolding story of this mysterious boy life in this new school where his journey of not only journey of knowledge but also the story of his past and love would begin.
chapter 4
After Yabu-sensei class, the class was given free studying time since their teachers were having a meeting. At first Ryosuke was planning to go with Yuto and Keito to visit the middle school and high school divisions of the academy since the academy studies goes right up to university level but when they were just going out of the door of the classroom, they were stopped by Chinen.
‘What you want Chinen?’ Yuto say with a threatening voice.
‘Watch your tone Vicey you may get in trouble with it!’ growled Ryutaro.
‘Not if the cause is you two. The whole academy knows you two are the worst trouble maker.’ Keito says.
‘And yet the both of you are only a 3 star student.’ Chinen said as he haven’t been having a good day since last night when he was asked to do something for the academy.
‘Why you! Your only a honour student because of your alice other than that attitude of yours will never get that rank.’ Yuto insulted Chinen.
That insult had already cross the line but Chinen held in his anger since he wasn’t allowed to tell anyone else accept the teachers of the academy about the work he does for the academy.
*flashback*
‘If you use your ability to help the academy do some outside work, we will spare your other friends to deal with the work in state. You wouldn’t want them to get hurt would you?’ asked a man in a black suit.
‘You promise you won’t hurt them?’ asked a 4 years old Chinen.
‘Yes, as long you do what we ask for.’
‘Alright then, as long as you don’t hurt them.’ reply Chinen.
‘Remember if you fail any of this missions I will just send one of your classmates to deal with it. I might be a bit cruel on that. Maybe I would choose Morimoto Ryutaro to take your place then.’ say that man with a menacing tone.
Chinen gulped and reply, ‘I understand as long as you don’t hurt them.’
*flashback ends*
‘Shut up, Nakajima. I’m not here for you, I’m here for the new kid.’ snarled Chinen.
‘He’s not going anywhere with you, Chinen.’ Keito said while now is standing in front of Ryosuke as though protecting him.
‘Che, who wants him to follow. I just want him to know that life in the academy with an alice like his is not easy.’ Chinen reply.
‘What you mean, Chinen? I and Keito has been here since we were 4. Nothing ever happen to us.’ Yuto say.
‘That’s just because you don’t know my deal with the academy.’ Chinen thought.
‘Just watch out, that’s it. Bye, kiddo.’

In a dark room, Chinen was talking with the man in the black suit.
‘Are you gonna ask him to do what you asked me in the past?’ asked Chinen.
‘Determine on your performance. You weren’t doing very well the past few missions.’ reply the man.
‘The traders have already know who am I as a person who helps the academy even though they don’t know who I actually am. They are coming harder now at me.’ Chinen say trying to reason with the man.
‘You know accuses don’t get you anywhere. I don’t accept accuses. Just do what you’re asked to do and I won’t hurt him.’
‘Alright, as long you don’t hurt my friends, I’ll do anything.’ Chinen says desperately.
‘You remember what you must do and I’ll keep my promise.’

Yuto, Keito and Ryosuke are having a chat about their past in Ryosuke room.
‘Ne Keito, when were you brought to the academy?’ asked Ryosuke.
‘I was brought here when I was 4 I guess. I can’t really remember since it all happen in a flash.’ Keito say.
‘Eh, how did you discover you alice?’ asked Ryosuke.
‘I found out that I can control water when I accidentally filled up a dried up pond in my orphanage because it was summer and the fishes in the pond were having very little water to live in.’ Keito reply.
‘Then after that they just bring you here.’ Yuto asked this time since he felt like he’s being left out.
‘Yeah, but since I was afraid that the other kids in the orphanage would think I’m weird anyway so I didn’t mind anyway. After all it doesn’t really make a different. In fact I think I’m happier here, since I was always bullied in my previous school because I don’t have parents.’ reply Keito with so much ease as though it didn’t even hurt him to repeat his past.
The way Keito explain his past gave a complete shock to both Yuto and Ryosuke but both of them snapped out of it soon.
‘Well, Yuto your next then?’ Ryosuke said.
‘I enter the academy around 2 months after Keito entered though I had long found out about my alice. The academy only found out my alice when I lost control over it when I was mad with one of my neighbour kids when he called me weirdo. I accidentally lift him and put him on his house roof top. He was at fault because he started making a commotion after he saw me playing with my alice. That time I was playing with a ball in my room, letting it float in midair and he saw me through the window from his room. The next thing I knew a few men that come in a black car invited me to this school after they reason with my parents. At that time I knew I won’t get a choice to choose but to attend the school anyway so I didn’t resists.’
‘Wow! I’m amazed you manage to hide it for so long. I didn’t last one day.’ Keito commented.
‘Yup! Lasted about 6 months if I remembered right.’ Yuto replied.
‘What about you Yamada-kun?’ asked Keito.
‘Gees, Keito how many time I had said to just call me Yama-chan. If you keep calling me Yamada, I would call you Mr. President again.’ Yamada teased him.
‘Alright, alright you haven’t answered my question.’ Keito replied.
‘Let see, I found out my alice when I accidentally burn my cousin’s teddy bear because he made me angry ever since then my parent knew about it. Then they start ignoring me after that. They still took care of me by still raising but they take me as though I’m not there anymore.’
At this point Ryosuke was already in tears since he was already remembering his sad past. Yuto and Keito was already planning to stop him from continuing his story but Ryosuke refuse to stop.
‘After that my cousin had already spread the news through out the neighbourhood and people started bullying me and insulting me. Even my friends in school abandoning me and whispering behind my back. Then when my father found out of the academy and they were having a financial problem they just ….’
Yamada could not continued and was already crying out loud. Yuto could not find any word of comfort to say to his best friend and could only hug him, lending his shoulder to his friend to cry on. Keito could only look with pity at Ryosuke and Yuto and was shocked that parents would just sell their son just for money and the fact they think that that their son is weird.
Unknown to those three in the room, Chinen was outside the room listening to their whole conversation.
