Gloomy sunday
Well, Friday I was crippled by my mysterious back pain/popping, so yesterday was a write off. Managed to do a shop for food and Kenny drove us to the garden shop to buy weedkiller and a broom...exiciting. It made me laugh that we were going to a garden centre on a saturday afternoon. I felt old. And there were chickens!! Kenny made them peck his bristles on his new broom...
We watched the most boring film ever...Tideland. Tries to be all fucked up and gothic and junky but it kinda fails. There is no plot whatsoever. The little girl is pretty though, and a very good child actor.
I woke up this morning with a shooitng pain right through my jaw. Thought it was serious toothache at first but it eased off and I realised it's my jaw being wierd again. My ear went all numb too. Wondered if i have a slight infection but it seems to have calmed down now. I can eat which is the most important thing! And the back ache seems to have cleared a bit too. Was worried I'd have to cancel my driving lesson. But i didn't.
The driving lesson (third one now) went ok. I seem to get all nervous and lose confidence. The driving instructor says I'm progressing well and starting to get the hang of clutch control. I have to say I'd disagree though. Using the clutch at junctions is driving me nuts. Where is this god damn "bite" ?! I just get so overwhelmed trying to change down to 1st gear, check mirrors, check main road both ways, break, clutch in, turn...i know it sounds daft but it's just SO much to think about. I tried a 3 point turn too...oh wow i suck. And i also suck at uphill starts...I am just made of FAIL. It's going to take me forever to learn. No way will my driving by xmas be achieved.
Anyway i'm hungry...and we actually have food for once. YUMMY!
