A cold day in Tolkien Hell
It is freezing freezing freezing here! Why did I move to the Midwest? What made my little CA-bred brain think I could hack 3 degrees F with wind chill??
But the nice news is that it turns out I will not be alone in keeping toasty in Tolkien Hell. Thanks to all who commented and/or pimped me and my sins. I feel ... well, maybe not less sinful, but at least less alone in my sinful ways.
The back seems to be on the mend, too, which is cheerful. Spent last night sitting very straight at the computer with a bag of frozen peas tucked into the waistband of my jammies, and mobility is returning. The peas are a lost cause though.
