I have kicked the ass of my review panel
*slumps in victory* I have gotten seven people to agree to review! I have left upwards of 18 voicemails, spoken to four people in person, sent about 30 emails. With 18 people who haven't responded yet, I should be able to get my full 15. Pshew. I am worn the heck out.
Man, January is going to stink, though. I have four review panels due in December and January. I've got 6 reviews in from the first of them, and those are cut and pasted. The late ones should be pretty easy to drop in. But I'll have to synopsize that first thing Jan 3, and probably do a preliminary one next week. Then the second panel is due Jan 3, and I don't know what the hell I'm going to do with that, since the book will be in page proof by then and there isn't really a lot we can do. Guess I won't have to synopsize that one, anyway. The third panel is also due Jan 2, so I'll have to cut and paste it, and then synopsize. The fourth is due later in January, but by the time I'm done with the first and the third, it should all be in, and I'll have to C&P/synopsize.
Bleh. And all of this without binders and tabs because we're not allowed office supplies anymore. Joy.
