Okay, did the trip to DC and back for the week! Slept off the bus hangover, and I'm pretty much all-better now.
The jewelry class I'm taking at the Corcoran is fantastic. The instructor is great, knowledgable, mellow, apprenticed in Germany. She is also totally into power tools, so I'm on her side.
I have to remember why I'm taking the course, though: not to start a whole new venture in life, but to augment my current skill set in book arts. Metal + book arts = hot stuff, baby!!!
