The cell door opened but Suki didn't bother looking up, she knew there was only one person it could be. "Well, well, if it isn't my favorite prisoner," a surprisingly chipper voice said. Azula had a knack for sounding like that without ever actually being happy. To Suki that voice was like no other and managed to give her chills every time she heard it. She still didn't look up completely, but glared at Azula with fire in her eyes that would have rivaled the fire of some fire benders.

Azula merely smiled. Suki didn't know it, but it was her eyes that kept bringing Azula back. The Fire Nation princess crossed the short distance between the door to the cell and the wall Suki was chained to, "You know you really should learn how to be more polite. I just told you you're my favorite prisoner. The least you could do is say 'hello' or something." Suki ignored her, at least until Azula was suddenly right in her face. Azula grabbed Suki's cheek's harshly and forced her to look up, "Still holding your tongue I see. I hope you understand that I'm becoming very tired of your games Suki."

Their eyes locked briefly before Suki made a noise in her throat and made a move to spit directly in Azula's eye. Azula must have realized what was about to happen because suddenly instead of the saliva escaping Suki's mouth it was forced back in by Azula's mouth pressing against her. Suki's eyes widened as she struggled and tried to get away, but her hands were attached to the wall and her feet were bound together. Azula's tongue slipped past the parted lips of her prisoner and if she was concerned about Suki's discomfort it didn't show. No, if anything Azula was enjoying this, reveling in the dominance she could exhibit over another person.

Although, the longer the kiss lasted the more Suki's discomfort faded and something stirred with in her. It was something she hadn't felt since her kiss with Sokka. Without thinking she pushed herself up as much as she could and took Azula's mouth for her own. It quickly became a mutual connection and a fight for who would break first. Suddenly, Suki cried out and pulled away, blue electricity dancing on her tongue even after she broke contact.

Azula quietly stared down at Suki, her face as impassive as it ever got, a storm brewing behind those yellow eyes. Slowly her lip quirked up and Suki wasn't sure what to make of that look, "Well, that's one way to loosen your tongue." Azula ran a thumb over her own lips, quietly questioning what had just passed between them. Embarrassed by the broken contact and the look on Azula's face, Suki turned away. "Yes," Azula mused, "I was right to call you my favorite."

Title: Avatar Roku & The Kyoshi Warriors
Charaters: Roku, Sud, Kyoshi Warriors
Rating: G
Warnings: N/A
Word Count: 249/300
Challenge: Write a drabble inspired by the title of an episode from ATLA, episode used was "Warriors of Kyoshi"

It was shortly after I arrived at Sud's hut that he suggested we take a trip to Kyoshi Island. I was fascinated by this prospect since Kyoshi was the Avatar before me. The idea of visiting her home excited me and I immediately agreed with Sud to take me there. He laughed and told me that only I would be fascinated by the history of the island and not even consider what was on the island now.

"What's on the island now," I asked him. How could a person NOT be fascinated by the legends surrounding Avatar Kyoshi?

Sud explained how shortly after Kyoshi had passed that a group of women on the island had made a "little club" devoted to her. "From what I hear they dress up like Avatar Kyoshi and everything," Sud said. I wasn't sure what was funny about that but was curious to see this homage to Kyoshi.

We arrived on the island the next day. The warriors of Kyoshi greeted us happily and were very inquisitive about my spiritual contact with my previous incarnation. Of course, the highlight of the trip was seeing Sud's face when he realized how serious the women were about learning the ways of Avatar Kyoshi (and how beautiful they were). The next day, I left with authentic Kyoshi-style fans and Sud left with love letters from several of the warriors. The next time Sud spoke of the Kyoshi warriors it was with a dreamy look on his face.
