So I have done the unthinkable. It took months of coaxing from various people, But Soulia finally wore me down enough to run a trial of World of Warcraft after explaining the things an engineer could do.
I'm slightly ashamed. Assume that my social life will go through the floor for the next few days.
And if it turns out to be interesting, the next few months.
One of the things that is putting a strike against WoW is that the trial only allows the player to get to level 10.
And until then there is nothing that an engineer can do.
I might be amused using the API and writing macros and scripts if I get a chance to try it.
Time will tell.
In other news, had a good weekend hanging out with Soulia. I think he is enamored with my projector. I'll have to keep an eye on it next time he's here. Clarkson tied the Colgate game. Kappowich is doing a lot better than he was at Harvard.
I also caught a cold and couldn't give blood on Saturday. My sniffles are starting to give way to some slight sinus pain. I'm betting I picked it up at work and I know who to pester when I get back there.
Now to read a little bit more of the Dresden files before I get to sleep.
soulia,
wow,
