I know about half of my recent posts begin with "I'm not dead!" but that's because I'm never on LJ anymore.
I've recently rediscovered the reason for keepig a journal. I found some old essays I had written back in 7th grade. One of them was about the seagull I had for a pet for a few weeks back when I was really little. I had forgotten his name was Simon or where I had found him. I loved that little bird and had mostly forgotten about him. A journal is ment for you to go back to in a decade and see yourself as you once were to preserve your past. Granted, there's a lot of my childhood not worth remembering, most of it planted in front of the TV for hours a day. But I think now I'm doing interesting enough things that it's worth remembering most of my strange little projects.
Like today I overclocked a TI-86 calculator. It graphs now about 3 times faster then it did before.
Next on my table is to repair a broken ground wite on a GPS security unit.
Then a micro camera for a viewing scope from the shop.
Then I get to take a crack at a 16GB flash drive that I think the oscillator is bad on. I can test it with my new oscilloscope.
Followed by trying to get a trashed computer to boot.
And then mayube I can get back into my other projects that I'm trying to do for myself.
Somehow I've been managing on less than 6 hours of sleep a night. At least there's no need to try to keep myself busy.
Now back to work. Either that or snuggeling up under the blankets to get warm again before I start.
