Ok it's rant time again boys and girls. I've heard some stupid things in my day, but apparently a jeweler out in Utah (I believe) has begun turning LIVE COCKROACHES into broaches.
So this is it folks huh? You have finally lost your f*cking minds. Not only are you going to wear a diseased live insect, but you're going to pay 40-50 dollars a pop for them. Oh, but I guess it works out since they have nice little shiny beads on them....beads that probably cost the jeweler all of, oh, I dunno....fifty cents for a thousand??
You know, P.T Barnum once said "A fool and his money are soon parted." THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU SHOULD SPEED ALONG THE PROCESS?!! I seriously don't know who to be disgusted by more, the people that make these things or rich sons of b*tches that wear them.
I have a couple of thoughts (shock shock).
A) Why hasn't the animal cruelty jokers who have such a problem with EVERYTHING when its a cuddly animal, but no problem when someone hurts something unattractive. Wow, I'm getting flashbacks from HS right now.
B) Why are these losers who are buying this stuff, spend their money on something a little more important.......like CHARITY. There are homeless people, starving children, people who have lost loved ones.....RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA! Here we are, the richest county in the world, we're sending billions of dollars to the homeless overseas, yet our homeless are unimportant, so much so that we have people buying insect jewelry!
Way to go people, the people that invented the PET ROCK think this is a ridiculous idea. Seriously people, get a cause to spend your money on, and keep the cockroaches in the dark places where they live. The only time one of these should "go into the light" is when they're dying, or when they're running from a light that just got turned on, NOT while running around on your blouse.
