Meme Ramble + Story Note
*waves* Here's a meme at Tammy's request, and a note to let you know the IPOH boys are still here!
Two names you go by:
1. Amelia- that's my full name; Mia's my preferred shortening.
2. B- which has a childhood story behind it. I'll say no more and spare my blushes...:p
Two things you are wearing right now:
1. Pyjamas with butterflies and flowers printed on them
2. Polka dot knickers (probably more information than you wanted LOL.)
Two things you want very badly at the moment:
1. Time to write! *puppy dog eyes*
2. To go to the cinema. I haven't been in ages and I love the cinema, plus I want to go and see "My Bloody Valentine" just so I can say I have survived the experience of watching a horror movie with 3D glasses on :)
Two people who will most likely repost this:
I'm late to the party (which is hardly unusual :p) so I think quite a lot of people have done this, but if I had to guess I'd say:
1. Kate *dances round her*
2. Camilla, because I figure if she's kind enough to consider indulging me when I beg her to write sex scenes where Jack and Ennis are wearing glasses then a meme is small fry :D
Two things you did last night:
1. Watch "Criminal Minds" (for the plot, obviously, and not my pathetic schoolgirl crush on Matthew Gray Gubler ;))
2. Talk to my friend about going on holiday together in the summer, which feels so far away in cold, raining England!
Two people you last spoke to:
1. My sister whilst we watched "The Devil Wears Prada" together.
2. Probably the IPOH boys; I have a worrying tendency to talk to the computer screen whilst I work out what I'm typing :)
Two things you ate yesterday:
1. Toast with soup.
2. A chocolate cookie, although I didn't so much eat it as kind of brutally savage it.
Two things you're doing tomorrow:
1. Mourning the fact that it is supposed to rain, and my one pair of knee high boots have started to let in water when I wear them :(
2. Loading some new music onto my iPod before I leave the house.
Two states you'd like to visit:
1. New York. One word: Bloomingdales!
2. Wyoming. Ever since I found BBM, I feel like part of me is always there.
Two favourite beverages:
1. Italian lemon soda
2. Hot chocolate (with cream and marshmallows, of course!)
Okay, congratulations if you made it to the end of that LOL. Now for the note about that little love story I'm writing:
IPOH is in progress, but I want to say sorry for the long wait, and for not having the chance to update you on where I am with the chapter sooner, like I usually do. The part that comes next in IPOH is an interlude focused mostly on Jack and Lucas- it's taking me a long time to write because it has prison scenes in it which I've never dealt with before, and because it's written in two contrasting styles to draw the distinction between Jack and Lucas' stories. It's also taking me a long time because RL seems to explode the second I sit down at the computer, but I will get there, and when I do, I will be sure to post it immediately and hope that you think it was worth the wait ;)
