Seimei promised he'd take me to a festival this summer. Just him and me. And then he was going to bring me to stay with him for a bit. Mum wouldn't have liked that too much.

I really want to leave this place. It just gets worse the longer we're here.
I can't sleep anymore.

[By all means, he should be disappearing right now, since he was in a world where Canada did not exist. Even though he was fine, he still felt uncomfortable with being split up from Canada.]

I miss my family. My brother, and Mum, and all my friends...and Dad I guess.

I think about things I don't want to remember when I sleep.

It's really good that you love your family so much! You must've had a really good one.

Even in my home world, my family would hardly ever notice or come to visit me. As much as I love them, in a way, it makes no difference where I am at right now. I still miss all of my friends though. So I can sort of see where your emotions are coming from.

But, unlike the others, I don't think it's bad of you to say something! I knew afew people who kept their problems or sadness to themselves; [*Cough* Russia *Cough*] it really did not turn out that well for them.

So yeah, those people are just...being pretty rude and unpleasant, I think. And that American is just being obnoxious.

The best! Seimei and me were really close, and Mum's nice to me usually, and Dad works a lot, but I like him too. What's your family like? I'm sorry they don't visit? Are they far away normally? Seimei couldn't see me as often when he moved out.

Mm, thank you for that. I think maybe I say things too often. I don't mean to complain. I just miss having people to talk to. I have Soubi still, but none of my other friends.

Oh, well, you see I don't have a mother or father like a normal family. But I've been raised by two different dads at various points in my life. I first had a dad from France, and he travelled back and forth between Quebec and France to visit me alot! But then, when I was a teenager my French dad had to stay in France, and so I was adopted by a Englishman. He stayed in England more often than my other father did, but he was a very good dad too

You don't have a mother at all? But two dads, that must be fun! Why didn't you get along with your brother?

That's what he calls himself. He...he's just bad. All he's done is hurt people. He...got them to take my ears.

Yeah, my two dads don't get along though. They have a long history of..incredibly violent fights with one another, but now they just bicker like angry siblings. It's funny to watch them when they get drunk

My Mum and Dad fight sometimes. Mostly he stats away so they won't fight.

Why would your brother do that? Brothers are supposed to take care of each other? Was he really strong? To invade your whole country he must have been. That sounds scary.

[He nods happily] Very nice!

[His head tilted at the second voice.] Who is that?

Mm...yeah...like Soubi and Youji. Everyone has them from my world, when they are young.

He's not bad. Very...self absorbed a lot of the time, but hardly ever intentionally mean. [Than again, since when were any nations intentionally bad?]

...Huh? [Matthew titled his head in confusion, not really understanding what Ritsuka said. And then it dawned on him. And a look of pure horror crossed over his face as he covered his mouth.] O-Oh...you mean...? Ohmygod, I'm so sorry. That's...

[Matthew's normally bright violet eyes seemed to have darkened alot in an instant.] I...don't have any clear cut ideas on how to deal with him, but...it needs to be done. I-I'll...[his head suddenly jerked up, as though afew ideas had come to mind.] D-Don't worry at all!

[The Polar bear quirked its head to the side] Ao...yagi...Ritsuka. I'm me. Who is he? [The polar bear suddenly pointed towards Matthew, who seemed to twitch in frustration]

Some people say my brother is bad. But never to me.

[He looked away briefly, rubbing at the back of his neck] Mm...Yeah...so I don't...he scares me.

Please don't do something that will put you in danger.

[He smiled softly at the bear, head tilting curiously.] Isn't he your friend? You're the one with him. You should know.

Don't worry, I-I won't do anything that will get me over my head! If I even do anything...that is...I might not after all. [Matthew was aware of the fact that others could read over this conversation; he didn't want the scary American knowing that he was definitely going to do something.] H-He does sound pretty scary...so I probably won't.

[The bear blinked in confusion] "I don't know. He's always there. Following me. Don't know his name."

[Matthew sighed, as though he had heard this conversations 100s, if not 1000s of times now.] My name is CA-NA-er...my name is Matthew Williams!

[So...Kumajirou just effectively ruined his hopes of appearing as a totally normal human being. Well, considering what else he was seeing here, having a talking polar bear really wouldn't be seen as that big of a deal.]

S-Sorry, I've...had this polar bear for most of my life now. I just...met him one day, and he hasn't left me alone.

[Ritsuka's face lit up, giggling at the bear] So, do you have two names then, Matthew-san? I have two names too!

Do all polar bears talk in your world? I've only seen one at the zoo once.

[To the bear-] And what is your name then? You should be nicer to your friend.

[Matthew's smile grew wider when he noticed how happy Ritsuka seemed. He'd seemed so unhappy only moments earlier, and now understanding what had happened to him, Matthew really did not blame him for that. It was taking all of his willpower to keep himself from writing a spazzy, angry and definitely anonymous message to the scary American responsible for what had happened to Ritsuka. Such was the double-life of the passive aggressive Canadian.]

Oh...y-yeah I do have two names! Um...alot of my foreign friends have nicknamed me as "Canada", but most others just call me Matthew Williams! What is your second name?

Uhhhhh....n-not really. This one is kind of odd. I-I know a few others who have gotten...very intelligent pets as well though. But in my world, we don't have magic or super powers or anything like that. All the humans here are totally normal.

"Kumajirou. He won't remember my name. He won't feed me." [The polar turned his head to the side. Somehow the polar bear cub just made his face become much cuter.] "Do you have food?"
