As the title might suggest, I watched a rather...odd - but sufficiently amusing - piece of cinema this weekend.
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is, quite frankly, both one of the weirdest musicals I've ever seen and by far the most hilarious. I highly suggest watching it. The harmony is surprisingly good, the plot simple but fun, and it's just plain good entertainment. Also, it grows on you. A lot.
Apparently, according to
le wiki, it was a response to the Writer's Strike in '07-'08 and produced exclusively for Internet distribution. It is described as being a "musical tragicomedy miniseries in three acts".
If the promise of endless lulz and a good story is not enough then keep this in mind: Nathan Fillion [Firefiry/Castle] is in it...and he Sings.
