isn't it a little bit absurd? i think, however, the extreme temperatures are essential to my understanding of new york. this is how it is in summer, so hot as to be completely suffocating. thick & humid & sweaty.

i don't even really know. i just don't think i ever properly explained my bizarre and childish behaviour earlier in the summer. maybe nothing is needed, but this summer has been so strange and disappointing that everything seems very urgent.
