Another Update!
So....I GOT THE JOB!!! Yay! I am going to be a cashier, but I'm hoping that after a little while, they'll let me do something else instead. I'm just happy that I can start working. God has really answered all of the prayers for work! It's amazing! First Jason got a job for the week. It's only a week, but that will pay for almost a full month's rent! Then, Bekah called me and said that CRJ needs someone for the weekend, yay now I have a job too (even though it's only for two days)!!! After that my mom called and said that the Babcocks want Jason to mow for them (Wes broke his arm). Another job! And since we will be home, Jason can mow his neighbor's yard too. And after all of that, Bed Bath and Beyond called! Yippy!!!!! Something a little more permanent! It wont pay all of our bills, but it will help so much!!! Now we just need to get Jason a real job too. I think since all of the college kids are getting ready to go back to school, more opportunities will be opening up. Keep praying though.
Today I went out to lunch with my parents. My mom and I met my dad at his office in Alexandria. This was the first time ever that I didn't get lost on my way to his office!!! I was so excited. Anyway, they wanted to go to Panara Bread. It was pretty good!
Well, I have about a month left until classes begin! That's pretty exciting. I need to finish getting my books. I decided that I was going to look online instead of buying them from the book store. When I priced everything at the book store, it was $229 for 12 credits. That seems so crazy!!! And here they don't even buy the books back! So far I bought 4 books online; I paid $53, and saved $43! That's not too bad! Almost 50%. I think that you save more on the bigger books, so I am hoping to pay around $40 for my book that cost around $90 in the book store. We'll see if I can find it for that cheap. I might just decide to buy a used one. It would cost less than a new one, and I will only use it for a semester. Hmmm.... Ok now I am boring myself too.
Remember I said how Jason and I were staying here for the weekend, yeah right! We never do. It's good in a way, because then we get to see all of you, but it's also not good because we need to find a church here and get used to living on our own. I have a feeling that this will be the last weekend we're able to come home for a while though, because I will have to work on the weekends.
Ok that's about everything. Does it surprise you that I can write so much about nothing? It does me too. With Jason gone all day, I have no one to talk to, so this is a good way to get it all out! Anyway, I hope that you all have a wonderful day, and I'll see you on Sunday!
