...and then there's Tofino
So I get out of the car in Tofino and the vibe hits me like a brick wall. It's really tiny, but there's something about this place, even before I've seen it in daylight. The two people I've talked to seem really chill and the landscape on the way here (before it got dark) was beautiful.
The only thing is, it's smaller than Canmore (which is 11,300 people), there's no skiing (obviously) and it's really isolated. But, who knows. Most of my business ideas lately have been tourist-oriented anyways, which means either spot will be good (Canmore will just have an easier off-season thanks to Ski Big 3).
Anyways, I should be working on my business concepts, and/or figuring out what to do about this photography thing. Should I be sending portfolio disks to magazines and potential wedding/advertising clients? Or should I be finding someone else to work with for a few years and get better while getting older? Too many decisions I didn't have time to make at school. Must. Not. Let. Head. Explode.
