Organizing & Purging Tags
I'm re-vamping my tags for LJ. I got pretty out of control with all the tags I was making for this journal so now I'm consolidating =_= Only... it's taking forever to consolidate tags 'cause LJ doesn't have a very user-friendly way of getting it done faster. So I have to literally go into every post to change or add tags. So annoying =_=
Anyway, going back through my posts, I've got to say... I was an emo-teenager. I was pretty much the typical emo college student too =_=; Joy lol. It's funny to go back through and read old posts and think "Wow, I was pretty dumb lol." Still, it's all quite entertaining lol.
But anyway =_= I got rid of so many tags. I need to take a break. I still have to consolidate all the ones under "family" to "family & friends" 'cause I seriously don't need 2-3 categories on friends and family, but I have 44 posts under family =_=; *sigh* Oh woe is me. I have to consolidate all the computer-related ones. I don't really need a tag for 1-item things. Takes up space and it annoys me.
Oh, changed my layout today too 'cause the other one was giving me a seizure =_= j/k. Actually, I didn't like the font and I couldn't find a way to change it so I switched to this one. *sigh in happiness* Good ol' Arial, I don't know what I'd do without it *___* The tags and everything are much better on this version too. Rather than a straight list, I like the differentiations on type size so one knows which tags I use the most. Sad to say at the moment, that "SCHOOL" comes out as number one =_=; *sigh* I did blog a lot using LJ during my college days after all lol. After I switched to blogspot, I haven't been here all that often at all so of course, it's all related to my school days. Maybe I should just get rid of that tag =_=;;; It's depressing when the one tag that stands out the most is "SCHOOL"
Or maybe I just have to write more under other tags lol. Though I think it'll be a while before it tops school. "Family & Friends" maybe have a good chance of topping it ... still doesn't change the fact that "SCHOOL" is huge lol.
