A/N: This is Koki POV for my Tell Me Goodbye[akame] fic. I’ve include my Kokame fanvid I the end of this fic.

Koki steal a glance at the younger man beside him.
“Kame-chan,are you sure about this?” Once again, Koki try to get the assurance from Kame.
“Koki,please. I know what I’m doing. It’s the best option for both of us.”
~Flashback~
Koki just come back from his lunch break. Once he reaches KAT-TUN practice room, he looks around to find no one except him has arrived. So he decided to take a nap while waiting for other members to come back. Just when he was about to close his eyes, he saw a figure entering the room. The said figure’s steps are weak and his face shows mixed of sadness, blankness and confusion. Koki turn his look to the other’s eyes. He can see that those eyes were holding a burden and there’s a pool of tears threaten to fall onto those smooth cheeks. He quickly gets up and arranges his steps toward the figure.
“Kame-chan, are you okay?” The man looks like he just snapped back to the present time. In a second, Kazuya were crying in Koki’s arm.
“Sshus…What’s wrong? Tell me,please..You know you can count on me,right?” he scoop the beautiful face in his hands and try to make eyes contact with Kame. Seeing the painful look in those orbs, make him feel as if his heart is being torn apart.
“Koki…Jin..me and Jin…we can be together no more..”
Koki feel as of his heart is being ripped off his chest. It’s enough pain already knowing the person you love is in love with someone else. Now it’s more painful to watch him being hurt because of his love which does not belong to Koki.
“Why did you say so?” Koki try his best to keep his cool and not to let his broken heart shown on his face.
Kame starts to tell Koki everything that happens during his meeting with Johnny-san. Koki has been griping his fist when he heard how Johnny has asked Kazuya to break up with Jin just to make Jin accept the oversea solo concert’s offer.
“Are you sure you want to give up on him, Kame?” Koki ask warily.
“That’s the best for him, Koki. I can’t be selfish. He has a bright future. His talent should be recognized by the world. If our love is the sacrifices needed in order for him to success, I’m willing to let him go,Koki. I need your help and support in this, please..” the voice sound almost pleading. Koki knew that he shouldn’t be agreeing in helping Kazuya but his greedy heart of wanting Kazu for his own has made him lost his sense.

Koki sighed. He obviously didn’t agree with Kazuya’s plan but he couldn’t say no to Kazuya’s request. Even though he always wants Kazuya to be his, but he certainly don’t like the idea of breaking up Kazuya and Jin relationship. Moreover, when he realizes that whatever they’re doing will only hurt Kazuya later on.
“He’s here. It’s time!” once again, Koki sighed once he saw Jin’s car enter their view.
“I hope you won’t regret this later,Kame. Yosh!” With that,Koki pull Kazuya into his embraces and start caressing Kazu’s back. Kazuya purposely drop his head onto Koki’s shoulder lovingly, fully aware that a pair of eyes was watching him with a broken heart. Koki feel a pain in his heart. How he longed to hold Kazuya in his arms.. But he knew even though he’s holding him right now, it’s only an act.
From the corner of his eyes, he can see Jin’s face that full of anger and hurt. He realizes how much these two love each other but his stubborn heart didn’t want him to accept it. When Kazu pull him for a kiss, he totally lost it. He didn’t care about anything anymore..Not about Jin’s broken heart or the fact that what he and Kazu have was just an illusion. For once, he wants to believe that it’s true… For once he want to believe that it’s a reality.. Without his conscious, he lifts Kazuya bridal style and brings him into the bedroom. Reality hit him back the moment Kazu push him away when his kiss was turning more demanding.
“What the hell Koki?! Control yourself! We’re just acting!”
“I’m..I’m sorry,Kame. I think I better get going now.” With the last words, he dashed out from Kazuya’s house leaving his confused friend behind. His heart was beating like crazy and tears were threatening to fall from his eyes. Once he enter the lift, his fell down on his knees and let his tears making their way down onto his cheeks.

A knock was heard on Koki’s door. He walks lazily towards the door. He certainly wants to be alone tonight. After the incident at Kazuya’s apartment last week, he has been isolating himself. He didn’t know how he should face him.
Slowly, he turned the door knob and to his surprised, the person that he’s been trying to avoid is standing right in front of him. Koki is still astonished at the door when Kazuya make his way into the house.
“You’re not gonna stand there all night, right?” Kazu voice snaps him back.
“What are you doing here?”
“Nothing. Just visiting you. Let’s drink this, shall we?” Kazu raises the wine bottle in his hand to show it to Koki. A smile broke on both of their faces.
“Ne~Kookii…Did you heard the news??” Kazuya ask with a voice clearly shown that his not really sober now.
“What news?” Not understand what Kazuya is referring to, Koki ask him back.
“ Jin…he’s leaving…he’s leaving us…He’s leaving..me…” Kazuya burst into tears. With once swift move, Koki grab him into his embrace.
“Wasn’t this is what you want, Kazuya? Don’t worry. I’m here.You have me. I’m never going to leave you… Forget him..please..” For the rest of the night, Koki was holding Kazu in his arms until both of them fall asleep.
I’m still happy to watch you from behind

The direct sunlight shines through the curtain has forced Koki to open his eyes. Realizing there’s a person sleeping in his arm, he stops his movement. A smile creeps onto his lips. He closes the distance between them and inhales the younger man’s scent. Gently, his fingers were caressing Kazuya sleeping face.
God, please don’t take this moment from me…I’m willing to exchange my life just for some moment of love with him..Please…
Kazuya slowly open his eyes and the first thing appear to his vision is a smiling Koki who brightly greet him.
“Ohayou,Kame-chan. You really sleep like a dead lock ne~~. You better get up now coz I can’t feel my arms anymore.”
“Gomen~~hehehe…Your arms made a great pillow for my head! Arigatou ne~~”
“I’m going to charge you for service taxes! Hehehe…Let’s have breakfast now, shall we?”
“Hmm…I wanna go home now. My head hurt so much!”
“And how are you planning to drive with a head like that? Let me send you.”
“Hai~~ Koki saiko!” Koki smile again. He knew Kazuya was faking his cheerfulness right now.
After thirty minutes of driving, they finally arrive at Kazuya apartment. Both of them decide to take a walk along the beach not far from there.
“Ne,Kame-chan. Are you sure you’re okay? I mean with Jin’s leaving?”
“Okay? Nope. But I’ll live.” Koki can sense the sadness in those words.
“Are you planning on sending him off tomorrow?”
“I don’t think I can face him,Koki. I might break the moment I see him. It’s better if we didn’t see each other again. If I ask you to go on my behalf, can you do that?”
“Sure,he’s my friend after all.” Kazuya missed the bitter smile on Koki’s lips.
No matter what, he still the one that you love,right Kazuya? I’m so stupid ne… Because I’m stupid, I only look at you Kazuya…I keep on hoping for your love…

Koki glance at the person in front of him. He can see that person’s eyes were wandering around. And he knew perfectly what or more precise who are those eyes were searching for. All KAT-TUN members except Kazuya are gathering at Narita airport to send Jin off. Koki can see how hard it is for Jin to leave. He knew that Jin is still hoping for Kazuya to stop him from going. And he also sure that Kazuya is here at the airport but he’s hiding himself from Jin. The announcement of Jin’s flight is heard and Jin starts to exchange hug with his fellow band mates. When it’s Koki’s turn, he can hear Jin whispering to him.
“Koki, please take care of Kazuya. If you ever make him cry, I swear I’ll kill you with my very own hands. I’m counting on you. Please live happily with him.”
“I rather kill myself than making him cry, Jin.” Koki smile at Jin.
The one that making him cry is not me,Jin…It’s you…And you don’t know how hard it was for me to look at him suffering like that…
Koki feels unease in his heart but he quickly brushes it off.
I know that this is not the right things to do but I’m sorry Jin. I’m taking him away from you. I’m sorry for being a terrible friend, Jin. But my love for him has driven me insane. I need to be with him,Jin.One day..One day I’ll return him back to you…Just not now… Let me be with him even for awhile…I’m sorry,Jin..I’m sorry Kazuya…

It’s been almost half years after Jin left for LA. And which is passing time, Koki has never leave Kazu’s side. He knew if he left him alone, Kazu won’t be taking care of himself. He has been taking care of Kazuya meals and needs. He can see how Kazu getting thinner and thinner days by days because of his hard work in order for him to forget Jin. He knew that Kazuya is suffering. He hates to see him like that but he keeps on consoling himself saying that this is the only way he can be with Kazuya. He wants Kazuya to depend on him like this. He feels as if he meant something in Kazuya’s life. Even though Kazuya didn’t even notice his feeling, he feel satisfied even with just spending time together with the younger one. He can see how Kazuya trying hard to hide his sorrow behind his smile and laughter. And he can see how painful it was for Kazuya every time Jin’s scandal is reported on the news. As long as he can have some memories with his love one, he feels it worth it. Even though he’s making memories by himself, he didn’t mind it at all…

Koki grab the last can of beer left and finish it in one shot. He throw the can to the floor joining the others empty cans that scattering all over his living room. He can’t take it anymore. Seeing Kazuya getting hurt with Jin’s latest scandals has takes his last bit of patience away. When he saw how broken Kazuya was, he realizes that no matter what he it stills no match to Jin’s love. He knows he should have done this a long time ago. He knew that he has been really selfish. And he just realizes that his selfishness has brings tears to his love one.
This is it…Let him go… He does not belong to you, Koki.. Jin deserves to know the truth… Jin is the only person that can return Kazu’s smile…
Slowly, he grabbed his phone and dialed Jin number. Although he hasn’t been in contact with the latter for about a year, he still kept the other number in his phone. Reason? He also can’t think of it. Maybe because he always knew that he should do the right things from the very beginning.
While waiting for the line to connect, Koki take a deep breath and gather all his strength. Once his call is picked, he can’t suppress his anger anymore.
“WTF Akanishi! What with you and all those bitches? Can’t you stop hurting Kame?!”
“Hello to you too,Koki. What the hell is wrong with you? Calling me out of blue and screaming at me suddenly?”
“Damn you,Jin…You’re so ignorance! You don’t have any idea on how painful it was for Kame…You’re such an idiot Jin!”Koki try his best to make him sound like he not abstemious now.
“Are you drunk,Koki? I don’t understand what you are talking about. Kame is yours now. He didn’t love me anymore. What did I have to do with him?”
“You stupid pig! Kame and me…It was all an act… he did it so that you can leave him and become a world star… You don’t understand him at all and yet you claim that you love him??! That’s why they called you BAKANISHI! You’re idiot! ..you pighead…you..” his cursing went off once he heard the sound signaling the phone has crash on the floor. He ends the call and smile bitterly.
It’s for the best…It’s all for Kazuya’s happiness…

Koki made his way to Kazuya apartment. On the way, he stopped by to buy a bouquet of flowers. He wants to surprise Kazuya and create their last memory together today. He knew that Jin will be back any moment from now. So he hopes he still have some times to spend with Kazuya before giving him back to Jin. From far afield, he saw Kazu walking weakly along the beach. He quickens his steps towards him but only to stand frozenly when he notice the person behind Kazuya. His bright smile is wash away and his broken heart is clearly shown on his face.
From a far, Koki watch silently as he saw Jin running towards Kazuya. He can see the love filling the air between those two people. Once he saw Kazuya pouring his heart into Jin’s embrace, tears were pooling on his eyes. He can see how Jin is trying to soothing his beloved, and how he wishes that he was the one doing it right now.
Bye, bye never say goodbye

The next scene between the love birds have made Koki turn around and start to walk away weakly. He can’t afford looking them kissing each other passionately when his heart was breaking into million pieces with each moment of it. The white roses in his hand fell onto the street and scattered away by the wind.
I guess I’m too late now…Forgive me, Kazuya. Forgive me for being stupidly in love with you… If I’m not meant to have you in this life, I pray to God that I’ll have you in our next life….May you have all the happiness in the world….

Koki made his way to Kazuya apartment. On the way, he stopped by to buy a bouquet of flowers. He wants to surprise Kazuya and create their last memory together today. He knew that Jin will be back any moment from now. So he hopes he still have some times to spend with Kazuya before giving him back to Jin. From far afield, he saw Kazu walking weakly along the beach. He quickens his steps towards him but only to stand frozenly when he notice the person behind Kazuya. His bright smile is wash away and his broken heart is clearly shown on his face.
From a far, Koki watch silently as he saw Jin running towards Kazuya. He can see the love filling the air between those two people. Once he saw Kazuya pouring his heart into Jin’s embrace, tears were pooling on his eyes. He can see how Jin is trying to soothing his beloved, and how he wishes that he was the one doing it right now.
Bye, bye never say goodbye
Though I can’t hold on to you

I keep hoping and hoping again

In the days when I’m withstanding the pain

The next scene between the love birds have made Koki turn around and start to walk away weakly. He can’t afford looking them kissing each other passionately when his heart was breaking into million pieces with each moment of it. The white roses in his hand fell onto the street and scattered away by the wind.
I guess I’m too late now…Forgive me, Kazuya. Forgive me for being stupidly in love with you… If I’m not meant to have you in this life, I pray to God that I’ll have you in our next life….May you have all the happiness in the world….
