“Koki,please. I know what I’m doing. It’s the best option for both of us.”
Koki sighed. He obviously didn’t agree with Kame’s plan but he couldn’t say no to Kame’s request.
Kame turns his look towards the street. Upon seeing a car that he recognizes so much, he quickly get up and grab Koki’s hand.
“He’s here. It’s time!” once again a sigh is heard from the shorter man in front of him.
“I hope you won’t regret this later,Kame. Yosh!” With that,Koki pull Kame into his embraces and start caressing Kame’s back. Kame purposely drop his head onto Koki’s shoulder lovingly,fully aware that a pair of eyes was watching him with a broken heart.
I’m sorry Jin..This is for your own good…

Jin was driving calmly with a huge smile plastered all over his face. His glance at the bouquet of roses on the passenger’s seat beside him and a huge grin appears on his lips.
Kazu going to love this!! Wait for the surprise,babe! Gosh I miss him!!
His feet automatically pressed the accelerator pedal and the car move faster along the highway.
Once arriving in front of Kazu’s house, he quickly parks his car. He was about to exit the car when he saw a scenery that broke his heart into a million pieces. His hands were trembling with anger while his eyes were fixed on the two figures hugging each other lovingly on the balcony. He can see how his friend’s hands were roaming all over his lover’s back. The next scene has left him the biggest pain as he saw his lover gently pull the other man into a deep kiss. He sees how his lover was being carried bridal style into the house. Even though both of them have left, his eyes still fixed on the empty spot left. Tears were running down on his cheeks.
Kazu..why? How could you?!

The phone was ringing non-stop for the past one hour. Kame’s gaze was fixed on the phone. He knew whose the caller is. That’s the reason he’s been avoiding them. With his back leaning against the wall, he brought his knees to his chest and hides his face between them. He knew the moment he answer the phone everything he has planned will scattered into pieces.
Please, Jin…please move on… Please forget me…. If not, it’s going to be hard for me to let you go…

~Flashback~
Kame brought his hand to the wooden door and slowly knocks on them. After a voice telling him to enter the room was heard, he slowly turned the door knob and makes his way into the room. His heart was beating like crazy, full of nervousness. He followed the instruction given to him and sits down in front of the old man.
“Kamenashi-kun, do you have any idea why I’ve called you here?”
Kame shakes off his head signaling that he has no idea at all upon the meeting. A paper is shoved in front of him. With confusion, he grabs those paper and start reading it. His eyes widen in disbelief.
“As you can see there, Jin has been offered a solo concert in LA. I believe you’ll agree with me if I say that this is a chance of a life time. He has the opportunity to broaden his talent to the world. ”
“This is great, Johnny-san! He do have a talent. This is a very good news!”
“Yes it is. But unfortunately, he rejects it. The contract needs him to stay overboard for a year. And if he’s doing great, he can continue being a world star afterward. I think you can guess the reason of his rejection, right?”
Kame look at the man in front of him. Confusion is written all over his face.
“Hmm…Kamenashi-kun. I know that right now I might seem like the biggest jerk of the whole world to be asking you this request. But I believe this is for the best. Jin rejects this big opportunity because he didn’t want to leave you. You are the only strong reason that was holding him right now. If he accepts this, he can’t be attached to any other commitment. That’s mean he need to focus all his attention to his career only. I’m asking you a favor right now. Please convince him to accept this contract. It’s the best for him. He has a bright future. I believe you won’t be too selfish to obstruct his success just for your own happiness right?”
Kame’s view starts to blur upon hearing the man request. His mind goes blank and he can feel a pain in his chest.
Is it means that I have to let him go…?
“Kamenashi-kun? Can I count on you for this?”
Weakly, he nodded. “Yes,Johnny-san.”

A loud knock on his door snapped Kame’s mind back into the present time. Hearing the voice he knew so well, he gathers all of his energy and strength to put up a straight face. He makes sure that his face shows a heartless expression and opens the door slowly. A tangled face appears in his view. He sinks his nails onto his palm in order to prevent him from hugging the person in front of him.
“What do you want, Jin?”
“Kazu…please… we need to talk… Please..” the voice sounded almost pleading. He can sees how hurtful it was for the later.
“Fine. I’ll grabbed my coat. Let’s take a walk outside.”
Silent fill the space between them along the 30 minutes’ walk. Both of them stop once they reach a bench that facing the ocean. They sit side by side and Kame was the first who break the silence.
“What do you want to talk about?”
“I want to know why, Kazu. Why did you cheat on me? This is not like you. The Kazu I knew would never do such things. I knew there must be a reason, right? We were so happy before. How can everything change in a blink of an eye? I’m willing to accept any reason you give,Kazu. So, please… Let’s get back together, okey? I need you, Kazu…” the voice crack. Even without looking, Kazu can tell that Jin is in the edge of crying right now.
“Don’t you see Jin? You don’t know me. I’m fed up with this relationship. There’s nothing left for us, Jin. I don ‘t love you anymore. It’s better if we break up.”
“NO! Please tell me that’s a lie! Please… It’s okay if you don’t love me anymore. Just…Just be by my side… That’s all I’m asking for..Kazu,please…” tears that were pooling around Jin’s eyes broke and falls along his cheeks.
“That’s the truth Jin. Accept it. You should move on. You deserve better, Jin. And I have Koki now. So, please…Stop being so selfish, Jin.” Kazu tries his best to avoid looking at Jin. He knew he won’t last a second if he sees those tears.
After calming himself, Jin slowly voice out. “ Are you happy with him, Kazu?”
Kame gathers all his strength and pull out a straight face while looking at Jin. He slowly nodded.
Jin sighed. Slowly, he get up. With his back facing Kame, he says, “ Then,fine. As long as you’re happy, it’s okay then. Can I have a small request?”
“What is it?”
Jin slowly turn his head looking at Kame eyes. “ Can I have a last kiss from you?”
“Sure…” As soon as he gives his approval, Kame feels his body being pulled into a tight embrace and a pair of lips that he has missed so much landed on his. Their kiss was deep but full of hurt as both of them realize it’ll be their final kiss. As soon as the kiss was broke, Kame hears a soft voice behind his ears.
“Sayonara,Kazuya…” With those final words,Jin walk away without even once looking back.

Kame’s eyes were fixed on the tv screen. Jin has announced that he’ll be going to LA again. The whole things have caused a stir in their nation music industry. He knew that Jin probably won’t come back anymore. The rest of KAT-TUN members was originally rejected the idea of letting Jin go from their group but Kame has convinced them that it’s for the best. When they saw how stubborn Kame was, they gave up and give their approval. They realize how hard it is for Kame. So they decide that they shouldn’t make things harder than it has been.
He quickly grabbed the remote control and switch off the tv. He made his way to the kitchen and took out a bottle of wine from the cabinet. Alcohol has been his good friend nowadays. That’s the only way he can survive without Jin by his side.

The rest of KAT-TUN members except Kame are gathering at the airport. They were sending Jin off. Fans and media were also there which has made the surrounding of the airport become chaotic. However, all of them can’t fill up the emptiness in Jin’s heart. For him, there’s only one person he wanted to see the most right now and that person didn’t show up at all even until the announcement of his flight departure is made. After hugging each one of his friends, his track stops in front of Koki. While exchanging hug, he whisper to him slowly.
“Koki, please take care of Kazuya. If you ever make him cry, I swear I’ll kill you with my very own hands. I’m counting on you. Please live happily with him.”
“I rather kill myself than making him cry, Jin.” Koki smile at Jin.
The one that making him cry is not me,Jin…It’s you…And you don’t know how hard it was for me to look at him suffering like that…
The final call for LA passenger is heard. Jin bid his friends goodbye and slowly make his way to the entrance. He turns back once again in hope that Kazu will come. But all his hope scattered and sadness is written all over his face. He quickens his steps without looking back again.
From a far, a pair of eyes behind a dark shades is watching Jin’s leaving. Tears were flowing heavily from his eyes. He arranges his steps out from the airport.

Half a year has passed after Jin’s leave Japan. Kame’s body keeps getting thinner and thinner as time goes by. He has been busying himself with works so that he won’t be thinking about his broken heart. He didn’t care of his meals. As long as he has the alcohol, he didn’t need any food. If it’s not for Koki who has been forcing him to eat, he might not have survives until today. His routines were always the same. Wake up, drink a glass of wine, go to work, come back home, surfing the internet for any updates on Jin and looking at their pictures or videos of teir memories until he fall asleep. Seeing Jin doing fine in LA has eased his heart a bit. No matter how lonely he felt, he keeps on telling himself that it’s for the best.
He has been reading about Jin’s scandals. Even though it hurt him, he still read it because that’s the only way he can feel connected to Jin.
Kame was browsing on Jin’s latest interview. Upon seeing Jin’s cold eyes, his heart wrench in pain. He can see that Jin has become a different person. Those eyes that once full of love and warmness has turn into cold and heartless eyes. He can somehow see the fakeness in Jin’s smiles. Kame can’t help blaming himself for it. Once again, he grabs the wine bottle and start drinking the liquor enormously.

Kame is walking along the beach. He can feel the chill from the cold wind blowing his whole body. He stopped his steps as he saw the sunset is setting down.
I wish that those sunset can take my pain away with them,Jin… the pain of losing you…the pain of seeing you’ve been hurt… your voice, your faces, your touch…It’s starting to disappear from my memories Jin…I’ve try so hard to keep them within me but somehow it start to fade away…I’m scared Jin…I’m scared of forgetting you…
Kame wipe away his tears before starting to head back home.

As soon as Jin steps outside from Narita Airport, he inhales deeply the air of Tokyo. Now, he only has one destination on his mind.
~Flashback~
Jin just finish bathing and he switch on the tv. His latest scandal with a foreigner woman appears on the news. With a sigh he turns it off and slowly head to the refrigerator and took out a can of beer.
‘What kind of life I’m having right now? I miss you Kazu… My life is upside down now because you’re not in it anymore…’
His phone start to vibrate and from the Caller ID he knew it was Koki.
‘Why did he call me? I haven’t been in contact with them since I’ve reach LA one year ago. Did..did something happen to Kazu??’
Jin heart beats rapidly. He quickly pushes the answer button. Once the call is answered, he can hear the voice of a very angry Koki on the other line.
“WTF Akanishi! What with you and all those bitches? Can’t you stop hurting Kame?!”
“Hello to you too,Koki. What the hell is wrong with you? Calling me out of blue and screaming at me suddenly?”
“Damn you,Jin…You’re so ignorance! You don’t have any idea on how painful it was for Kame…You’re such an idiot Jin!”Koki voices show that he’s not in the right state of mind.
“Are you drunk,Koki? I don’t understand what you are talking about. Kame is yours now. He didn’t love me anymore. What did I have to do with him?”
“You stupid pig! Kame and me…It was all an act… he did it so that you can leave him and become a world star… You don’t understand him at all and yet you claim that you love him??! That’s why they called you BAKANISHI! You’re idiot! ..you pighead…you..”
Jin grip looses and the phone drop his side with Koki’s cursing words. Within a few minutes, Jin’s already at the airport taking the first flight back to Japan.
~End of flashback~
He quickly takes a cab back to his old apartment. As he reaches there, he throws his luggage into the house before grabbing his bike keys and headed towards his garage. He starts the engine and speed up to a certain place. As he approaching his destination, he can see the figure he misses the most walking weakly along the beach. Once he gets off the bike, he runs toward the said figure while his hand was dialing a certain number.
Ringing of his phone stops Kame from continue walking. Seeing the unrecognized number on the screen, he raises his eyebrows. Slowly he answers the call.
“Moshi moshi?”
There was silence on the other line.
“Hello??” Once again, Kame tries to converse with the other person on line.
“Tadaima……Kazuya..” As he hears the voice, his knees weaken. He can hear the running steps behind him. Slowly, he turns around and his tears were threatened to fall again. There, stood Jin with a warm smile towards him. He look into Jin eyes and he can see no sign of coldness. All he can see is the warmness and love in those brown orbs. No words came out from Kame as he let himself being pull into a tight embrace and once he feel the familiar warmness surrounding him, he cried his heart out. His hand were clenching tightly on Jin’s chest.
“Koki has told me everything. You’re so stupid Kazu! How could you think that I’ll be able to feel happy without you? The popularity, the spotlight…all of it is nothing without you, Kazuya… You’re the only reason I’ve been working hard. Kazuya, sometimes we should be selfish in love. That’s the only way we can be together forever. ”
“I’m sorry….I..I…” His words were cut off when Jin captures his lips into a deep kiss.
Forgive me Jin for being selfish…. Forgive me for obstructing your bright future… I don’t care anymore… Yes,I’m selfish… I want to keep you by my side forever… I’ll never letting you go again…Ever!
