Thinking Steampunk
I was out at ConDFW for a little while this evening, and Meredith was showing off her latest additions to her Steampunk costume: an "Aetheric Ossilator" which was a little light up gadget she had strapped to her arm. Admittedly, beyond the Klingon, I really don't get much into costuming, but I have to admit I am thinking about some kind of steampunk outfit. Since I've been growing out my moustace again, I'd look quite smashing in some Victorian style attire. My thoughts are running along the classic safari costume. The pith helmet is easy enough to find, and something close to a riding boot is within my price range. The rest of the typical safari clothes are easy enough to come by.
Of course, the big thing about steampunk is accessorizing and taking theturbonerd's advice, I am thinking about building a big honking raygun to go with the costume. I'll call it an "Entropic Force Blunderbus" a big staff like steampunk raygun to be the focal point of the costume
