Done and done and done
I'm done moving. Well, there are a few items on the back deck which I wasn't able to get today, but will be able to grab on Wednesday, so that's fine. Everything's out of the house, and I've returned my key. I need to do some serious organizing, and a bit more downsizing (clothing, mostly). This was the smoothest move ever in my memory, in large part because I don't currently own a vehicle. Sound weird? Every time I move, whatever vehicle I own breaks down. Breaks go out, carburetor goes out, car randomly dies for no dicernible reason and starts up perfectly the day after I'm done moving, etc, etc.
Tomorrow I'm baking semlor, with plans on an after-dinner tea party of sorts. Wednesday I have to get the things left on Phil's deck, and then prune an apple tree. Moving is done, so it's time to get back to calenders and clocks and things.
I should be more tired than I am. Also, Moose the cat now thinks he lives on my bed. I am very okay with this.
