little random bits

Life continues to surprise, and to prove just how amazing and caring my friends are.

Tomorrow, around 8pm at the Nitelite, Sir Reginald Cosgrove and his Nighttime Singers will be playing with Sons of the Widow James, an excellent double-header of local music, for FREE! ...unless I am somehow much mistaken, but I'm pretty sure about this. Anyway, last time these bands played together, let alone without a cover charge, was before Thanksgiving, so I recommend taking advantage of this opportunity for a very good time. No cover means more money for beer, right? Right.

Friday I'll be at DIGS, at the corner of Holly and Commercial. They're having a sort of open house, showing off the new vintage section, 7-10pm. There will be a dj, and I'm told that vintage attire is encouraged, though not required. The business owner and I had a brief brainstorm during the Artwalk last Friday, and I'll be presenting a refinement of that to him. With a bit of luck, I'll have something exciting to share very soon.

I'm pretty sure there's something going on Saturday, some party or event I'm expected at, but I can't think of what.

Sunday is Fetish Night at Rumors, also known as An Excellent Excuse To Dress Up And Hang Out Like You Used To Back In the Goth Old Days. Or something. It'll be fun socializing, anyway.
