Well. What can you say about that really?
The fact that we let Birmingham get that much attacking share is ppretty worrying - Brum had a couple of almost goals! Drove me crazy, those moments. If we keep playing like this I don't dare to imagine Roma match. Carrick and Scholes better wake up soon because they just went missing today. The Brum's midfield surely enjoyed quite a lot of posession, especially in the first half. Giggs - I have no word. He was shocking - kept losing the ball and the passing went ashtray. I think Giggs needs to be benched for a while, and see how everything goes from there - SAF surely can't keep Nani benched forever if Giggs' play is worrying like it's been all season. Hell, I won't even complain if SAF benched Scholes in favor of Owen - I just want to see the flair and kick ass United of last season.
Aside from that, good goal from Ronaldo :). Took it really well, didn't he.
Too bad VDS is injured though. SAF said that he won't be playing on Tuesday. I like Tomasz, but I feel safer when VDS plays.
Oh, and obligatory Captain Armband (TM) moment : why didn't Giggsy give it to Scholesy anymooore??? When he started talking to Scholesy I was like ÿep, yep, now slid that thing onto his arm please" only for him to walk away and put it on Rio. Hmm. I wonder whether Gary and Ole had a few choice words with both of them about the whole thing... ;).
Anyway. A win is a win, but still, when Pompey could score 7 goals and Citeh scored 3 United struggled to get 1, you kind of getting worried...
They say a trashing by the lads must be around the corner, somehow. I just hope it'll be much sooner rather than later.
