Hat advice
When y'all are trimming hats, and putting wire on the brim, what gauge do you use? Do you vary the gauge depending on the diameter of the hat? Do you only wire some hats, and not others?
I'm aiming toward trimming a hat to go with my anglaise (and other things too, when I make them...) but I'm not sure about the wiring of it. It's 14.5" across, with a very shallow crown - about 1/2". Should I not bother wiring it? Should I wire just the edge, or put wire halfway in the brim as well?
