NBC Olympics / Northland Cable FUCKUP
So, I've been obsessing over curling for the past two weeks. Amazing sport. I love it.
I was talking to a friend of mine in Moses Lake about tuning in to the Bronze medal match happening right now, being shown on USA Network.
He tells me that USA is only showing Law & Order all day. WTF???
So I go to NBCOlympics.com and look up his cable provider, and according to their website, Northland Cable is supposed to be carrying Curling RIGHT NOW on their feed for USA Network.
Digging around a bit more, I see on the USANetwork Forums where cable companies are fucking up Olympic sports feeds right and left around the country.
I'd say, right now, that Northland Cable is pretty fucked up, and they're lucky they aren't MY cable provider, because I'd be using every means necessary to let the world know that they are fucked up.
It's a shame that some moron at the cable control room hasn't clued in yet.
Anyone who is being fucked over by their cable company -- time to ditch them and switch to DISH or something. I've had more hours of Olympics than I know what to do with, all of it in HD.
