So. It's the 21st of March, about nine o'clock (though you probably know all that already, unless you're really rather sozzled) and about time I started using this thing as a real blog.

I've had the last three days off college for "progress reviews" (read: very short reports which my teachers can't be bothered to write while teaching lessons, so college is suspended from Monday through 'til Wednesday), though I can hardly say it's been productive. I've written a lot (a LOT for me), and beta-read a fair bit, too, but the mound of homework that was confronting me on Friday night is still hanging around somewhere, just a few hours before I retreat to bed on Wednesday evening. I don't know when I became such a terrible procrastinator.

Mostly, I've been catching up with the OD lot (the site where I keep a proper, updated-most-days diary) and watching DW series one all over again, many many times. Can't say I'm complaining, though my English teachers might when they realise I haven't done any work come Friday.

Exams are fast approaching. It's my friend's birthday on the 24th, but I haven't bought her anything yet. DW series three is starting very soon and time is just flying past. It seems like it was only a week or so ago that I was saying how very long it would be before the end of March came around and I began visiting prospective universities. It's about time I got my act together and caught up with the clock.

I've been invited to an Oxbridge trip to check out both universities, but to be honest all I really want is for my teachers to stop pushing it. I know I'm never going to go to either, even if I do get the grades. They'd pass me off as a charlatan as soon as I opened my mouth.

Ah well. C'est la vie.
