The Longest Graduation Party Ever.

Jun 02, 2004 01:18

First and foremost I'm sorry I haven't wrote in some time. I've been a little busy, much to even my surprise. Tina's graduation was this past Friday. I had been in Dover since that Wednesday. Me, her, and Jy went to the Rehoboth Beach on Thursday and we chilled at Tina's house on Saturday. Sunday was the graduation party. We spent all day preparing for it. Me and Jy helped make egg rolls and worked the grill. It was my first time grilling and i made rocks out of a few pieces of chicken (as expected) but other than that Ms. Frida (Tina's mom) and her friend said I did a good job. We clowned around, played cards and football (Tina tackled and sat on me *ear to ear grin*... er, um, sorry about the normal guy moment). I'd say the only real damper was the bitter reminder that I was once a student at Polytech High School and was set on graduating from there and having a much better chance for a job. But of course my stepmother got a little greedy and sent me down south and the rest is history. Oh well if not for that I wouldn't have met Cosmo, Gaia, and all my friends down there that I miss. I just felt a little cheated, but it's all good. Seeing Tina graduate, and chilling with her and Jy revitalized me and got me motivated again. I was sad to leave though. My half-brother Andre is coming to visit this summer (at least that's what I hope). If I have things in order by then (and I should) I'll take him to meet Tina and my friends in Dover. I also plan on going back to South Carolina for a few weeks to see Cosmo and Gaia and the rest of the gang, but until then i'll have to get working on it. 1Luv and Farewell.
