Tonight's feature is "The Godless Girl."

If you were going to go to one of these - and I myself have not made it to the previous two in this run - I would recommend the one on the 29th. However, this week might also be an interesting week to attend, as I will be dragging my older brother along. He's visiting from San Jose.

My brother's in town. We do kind of nerdy things when he's around... and when he's not around. This time is no exception.

I've been trying a bit to diet. According to the scale it hasn't done me a lick of good, but I'm not getting too down on myself - I've busted the diet pretty bad, mostly because it requires so much fucking around with food. I'll get used to it and do better once I've gotten into more of a habit. At very least I've managed to actually make myself ( Read more... )

My grandmother fell sometime yesterday and hit her head. There was bleeding in her brain and she passed away about half an hour ago as Swedish-Providence hospital. She was extremely frail at 92 years old, so it's not terribly shocking to us - just kind of short notice.

So I bought some really cute shoes but can't even wear them because I'm still all wrapped up below the knee. Richard's still there, though slowly shrinking. The changes haven't been very notable, but I'll try to remember to take a fresh picture next time I'm at the wound clinic.
