OMG YAY! You have a shiney peice of framed paper that says you have a degree! Was it worth the 4 years of myserey to get it? :p
And whats with the attempt at shoulder length lizzie hair? :p
I'm suprised they never used Vancouver more for Sg1. It looks like quite a futuristic alien looking city. :p But OMG when was that conservatory built? It looks like the Eden project in cornwall :p Only smaller. The Eden project has like 4 domes massive interconnected domes.
And OMG its looks like the rain we've been having. The roads turn into rivers.
I think it was worth it, because it means I've actually accomplished something. And it's why I've got the job I do, so yes, definitely worth it.
Hey it's my hair, and actually I got it cut the next day so it's no longer that long :P.
I was just watching a movie this evening and immediately knew from a few shots that it was done in Vancouver. It's kind of freaky that I can do that after only a month of being here. And I'm sure they used quite a bit of Van in SG1 over it's 10 years, you just don't know what to look for ;). No idea when the conservatory was built, and I never even went inside. Maybe another time perhaps.
I've got a pic of the hail bouncing off the edge outside my window, but didn't put it up. The weather was seriously insane. But it only lasted an hour or so, very strange.
lol. Yeah, it's kind of recognizable. I didn't actually go inside though, I think I might do that some other day. Though all I can think of when I think of conservatories is the 'butterfly conservatory' in Niagara Falls, and the idea of that *shudder*. There is no way I'd intentially walk into a building where giant insects could land on me ;). Though this one at QE Park is apparently exotic birds, fish and plants so that'd be ok. After I bought a very horrible tasting chicken salad sandwich for lunch(which I pitched half of, so gross), I didn't have the $5 in my wallet to go in. Next time perhaps.
Yep, makes my 4 years of being stuck in a CS lab for hours on end, totally worth it :D.
Yeah! I think you're right. Now I'm going to have to go back and look, lol. The crab thing was so neat looking eh? :) And yeah, you gotta expect the rain here. Though the hail was kind of a surprise. And I wish it'd get warmer already, I don't mind spring weather, but it's SUMMER, bring on the heat!
*hugs back* Thanks :D. It does look neat, and I love the frame. The picture I took doesn't really do much for it though, it turned out too dark.
I love sharing my pictures, it makes taking them all the more worth while :). Yeah the weather was crazy, and it's kind of funny when I look at that pic. It's tilted to the left, but the water was actually running to the right. lol. I should have put up the pic of the hail bouncing off my window. It looked kind of neat, but I was too lazy to rotate it to put it up :P.

I guess it kind of does. Either way, it's still very cool looking.
No problem :). If I didn't share my pictures, what'd be the point in taking them ;).
