first up is a set of icons using the art of maxfield parrish, by sunlitdays. they are minimal in style, and really maintain the integrity of the original artworks. it's an unusual and gorgeous choice of subject, and the wonderful result can be seen here.
themurcurytree has made a set of lovely gone with the wind icons here at notley_abbey. there's very little use of text, the icons are cropped interestingly, and there's a nice mix of coloured and b&w icons. there are some nice christmas & london stock icons in the same post.
circa77 has made a small but superb set of john simm icons. they are minimal, they are bright, they are crisp, and they're cropped beautifully. the post also includes a couple of headers. see them here.
