more hip icons
this post has a distinctly, if not exclusively festive bent...
first up, well_of_desires has made a small post of muppet christmas carol icons HERE. they're bright, they're fun, and they're full of muppets. what's not to love. particularly good for those of you who, like me, tend to like the more minimal look.
secondly, sweet__tea has made a very pretty minimal set of icons from the last scenes of disney's the little mermaid. they're vividly coloured, tastefully & creatively cropped, and feature some of the best scenes in the film. see them HERE
thirdly, i have to give a shout out to my favourite christmas themed icon post of the year so far. lux_decorus has made some really stunning icons HERE - they're in muted, warm colours, feature simple and pretty subjects (baubles, wreathes, a robin), and are quite different from any other christmas icons i've ever seen.
