offbeat_upbeat has posted a set of whimsical retro holiday stock icons, here. I love that these have such a fun holiday mood while being unique to most holiday icon sets you see out there. Well worth a look!
weapon_icons has a new batch of stock, music and Hot Fuzz icons up, here. The coloring on these is subtle and well-executed, the cropping wonderful. If you're a fan of Simon Pegg, you'll love #24.
kidassassin has a post of simple but stunning multi-fandom icons up, here. Themes include actors, classic musicians, stock, Life on Mars and Shaun of the Dead (Apparently it's a Simon Pegg day today!), among others. The quality and coloring on these is clear and bold, making the icons really pop.
lux_decorus has a gorgeous batch of Smallville icons up, here. I don't watch Smallville, but I just had to rec these! The rich coloring is a perfect match with the chosen textures, which are used wonderfully.
emiv has continued her fabulous set of Marie Antoinette icons, here. As always, her icons are clear and crisp, with dynamic cropping that more than makes up for them being minimal. If you like that post, be sure to check out her earlier MA posts in that same community.
