Bridal traditions.
So I'm a bridesmaid for the first time ever and I'm looking for some clarification on a few things.
All of the bridesmaids are paying the costs of the bridal shower. We are also paying for the bachelorette party, our dresses, shoes, and our hair/makeup/nails/etc.
Are we expected to give a gift for the shower and one for the wedding? I'm curious and also freaking out because this wedding is costing me a fortune already! If bridesmaids are expected to give gifts for both, how many gifts are necessary? I'm assuming money is okay for a wedding gift but how many gifts are we expected to give at the shower? Just pick one or two (inexpensive) things off of her registry or one expensive thing or what? I'm so new to all of this and I'm so confused! Any help would be appreciated. :) You guys are always so great!
