Hello, hoping for a bit of emergency rescue advice.....
I've been making lime marmalade following
this recipe. But I accidentally added the sugar in too early (it's been left to soak overnight with the sugar in).
I've been cooking it now for an hour (have now removed cheesecloth bag) and not sure when it is likely to reach setting point, if it will at all since I did it wrong.
What do you think? I don't want to stay up all night stirring this thing if it's not going to set.
I also should sterilise some jars if this might work!
