Computer Question
My headphone jack on my computer is broken. I pulled out the cord and out came some of the guts of it, pictured here:
Any ideas on how to fix this? It's past warranty, so I don't think I'll be sending it back to Dell. If I was brave enough to open up the case might there be a way to replace just this one part? Also, I could buy the same case (Dell Dimension 8300) on E-bay for about thirty dollars. Would it be terribly difficult to take everything out of my current case and put it into a new one?
Please, no one suggest I buy a Macintosh or other Apple products.
