[Hi Johto! Luke’s decided to make it a habit to record some of his battles, and hoping that he could win the Goldenrod gym badge, he’s spending today challenging gym leader Whitney to a Pokemon battle!

The video records him alternating between Mr. Bear the Ursaring, Dandy the Jumpluff, and Wreckin’ Ball the Sandslash. All against Whitney’s cute but

[Cue a blue-haired eleven-year-old with a baby Cyndaquil asleep in her jacket.] Yeah, it's... a little tough. 'Specially when the baby's a giant, two-headed bird that keeps trying to swallow your hair clips. [She holds up a pink rhinestone dragonfly clip, and blows some of her raggedy hair out of her eyes.

A pause; she raises an eyebrow.] Is there... something up with Raz? [She apparently doesn't listen to her Pokegear messages very often; Rocket plot what Rocket plot?]

Oh uhm, you know that criminal organization, right? Team Rocket? They've been active lately and well, I've been a little worried. I'm sure he's all right though!

[She grins.] Heh, yup! The Dex-thing calls her a "Doduo". She's a bit more... energetic than this guy-- [She gestures to the sleeping Cyndaquil.] --so I sorta just... let her run around a bit. [Meaning... she doesn't know where the Doduo is. CORALINE IS THE BEST TRAINER EVER.]

Team Rocket, huh...? [She narrows her eyes.] I knew they were up to something-- Do you know what they're doing? "Active" how?

A Doduo huh? Honestly I've never seen so many strange-looking animals in all my life-

[And that would be an Ursaring in the background, growling. She doesn't appreciate being called strange.]

O-oh! I mean, you're not strange Mr. Bear! Really!

I've only heard rumors, some of them are missing I think.

Me neither! [Except for... maybe the button-eyed frogs from the world behind the wallpaper. But Pokemon were definitely cooler by a long shot!
She grins at the Ursaring. THAT IS A HUGE BEAR YOU'VE GOT THERE.] Heh, guess it's just normal around here. I've got a bat that's nearly twice my size too!

[But there seem to be more pressing matters.] Missing...? You... think they took Raz or something?
